"Over lift stop" is the travel of the armature.

PROCEDURE:

STEP1

Fix the body injector in the dedicated centering plate as shown in the picture.

Choose a part of the body to avoid the uncorrected centering (avoid bevels).

STEP2

Assemble the gauge head n°13 (DX75632, probe pin 2x94) with the dial gauge and fit it in the dedicated front slot. Set the instrument in microns.

STEP3

Insert into the body injector the ball, the ball bearing, the shim and the whole armature.

STEP4

Place the injector so that the dial gauge probe pin lays perfectly down on the armature pin.

 Move down the moveble crossbeam few millimetres more than when the probe pin start to touch the armature pin. Lock the vertical and longitudinal motion. Reset the dial gauge.

STEP5

Without moving the injector from the position previously fixed, remove from the body injector the armature, the ball bearing and the ball.

Insert into the body injector the shim and the armature.

STEP6

The dial gauge head has to lay perfectly down on the armature pin.

The read measure is the overlift.
